About the District of Edgbaston

Edgbaston is home to the University of Birmingham and the Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It is an affluent, upmarket leafy district that borders the busy City Centre of Birmingham. Edgbaston offers a more tranquil place to stay for visitors to this vibrant, energetic city which has superb shopping, restaurants, theatres and many clubs and bars offering great nights out. Within Edgbastons boundaries are the Wards of Bartley Green, Harborne and Quinton.

The A456 - Hagley Road runs through the centre of Edgbaston and into Birmingham City Centre where is becomes Broad Street a popular entertainment and business destination. Edgbaston has easy links to the M40, M5 and M6 Motorways.

For those travelling by Rail Edgbaston is served by three stations Five Ways (FWY), Birmingham University (UNI) and Selly Oak (SLY) all three of which are accessible from Birmingham New Street Mainline Station (BHM).
